November is just around the corner. Last year I was excited and I could not wait to start. Last year I started writing literally as soon as November 1st 2017 started. This time I took my time to announce my novel even though I knew I would be taking part in it.

I had a successful Camp NaNoWriMo. I spent the time after that thinking about what I had written. I subsequently edited part of what I wrote. I also realised my story was limited by the title of what I had named my novel. I decided to change it and make it more expansive. The result is a new novel. I have christened it “The Warriors of Giralda.” I will be using the same names of my characters because I like the names. I will be taking some ideas from what I had previously written. When I started writing I wanted to create a high fantasy but low magic world. Now my opinion has changed. There will be magic in my world but I hope I do not go overboard with it.

My main concern write now is whether I will be able to get through the physical pain of typing 1,667 words a day for 30 days. Like Camp NaNoWriMo I do believe I will be successful. I can feel the ideas build now I have to wait just four more days before I begin to unleash my ideas. I look forward to the end of November. I do hope the result comes out well.
